I just tried out my GTBank Naira mastercard on quickteller today and it was working. I had mostly being using a Verve card in the past but as from today, I may also start using my GTBank Naira mastercard.
I had written a post in the past after having a bad experience with Quickteller whn I tried using my GTBank Naira Mastercard on the site. You can
read the post here. Then, the transaction was not always successful when I tried it and didn't think it was my fault since I later learnt it had to do with the bank and Quickteller.
Then I couldn't purchase something as littler as airtime topup with my GTBank card but today it worked for me.
It is quite easy using your GTbank Naira Mastercard to pay bills on Quickteller and the basic things you have to do is provide your card number, expiry date, CVV code and PIN. If your card has been enabled for the service, you will be able to make payments seamlessly on the interswitch powered website.
However, I noticed something different with using a GTBank Mastercard on Quickteller than when using a Verve card because the OTP I received came directly from GTBank and not Safetoken as I used to get when using a Verve card. Also, the OTP from GTbank was a bit longer as it had 9 digits unlike that of Safetoken which comes with just 6 digits.
