I recently bought a 50ml adhesive or gum at the shopping mall called Bostik Clear for N832. It's an All purpose adhesive that allows one to join a variety of materials together. It's a bonding chemical that can bond materials such as glass, ceramics, paper, cardboard, leather, plastics, wood, fabrics, rubber, felt metal and so on.
It's an adhesive that can be used at your home or office with great ease as it comes as a single unit contained in a cylindrical tube that can be depressed to apply the adhesive.
What I really bought it for was to do some repair on my shoe as the local gum used by the shoemakers was not holding it well. I've applied it to my shoe and the bond seems stronger than the usual gum.
How to use Bostik Clear All purpose adhesive
===================================
1. Ensure that surfaces to be bonded are clean and dry
2. On poruous items e.g. broken ceramics, apply to one surface and join immediately
3. On non-porous items e.g. metal, apply to both surfaces and leave for approximately 1 minute before joining together
4. Allow 24 hours to dry.
Notes:
=========
- Bostik is not suitable for painted surfaces
- It's also not suitable for some plastics e.g. polyethylene, polypropylene and expanded polystyrene
- Avoid contact with your eyes and skin
- It's flammable so avoid fires and heat
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Bostik. I kind of like their motto that says "Don't just stick it. Bostik it".
