How to browse on your laptop with your Infinix Zero

The Infinix Zero is a great Android smart phone and like others, it has the ability to work as a portable mobile hotspot such that you don't need to connect to a public WiFi when you have your own private WiFi service.

Actually, I've been mostly using the phone for browsing on the go but since the main internet service which I use for my Computer has been disappointing, I decided to just connect it to my Infinix Zero. I normally use a fast and Fixed Wireless internet service that has a speed of 2MB/S so that I don't waste time on the internet and it's normally recommended you have a fast private internet service so that you don't go around looking for cybercafes. However, it ca nbe really disappointing after subscribing to a fast internet service and still cannot even download the Google homepage becaue of a bad network. Well, the MTN line I use on my Infinix Zero seems more reliable as I msotly get 3G on it and it works well.

Here is how I connected my Laptop to my Infinix Zero's hotspot Wirelessly for browsing

1. I went to Settings > General > Tethering and Portable hotspot > Setup

2. Under Setup, I entered a password I would remember and saved

3. I went back to Portable hotspot and switched it on

4. I now went to my laptop and switched the WiFi button on. If you don't have a Wifi card or switch on your laptop, you can always use a Wireless USB adapter

5. Scan for WiFi networks from my computer and discovered Infinix Zero

6. Clicked on Connect and entered the same password when it was requested

7. It connected and I was able to browse the web from my Computer's browser.
