If you are interested in using an online payment platform in Nigeria and you want something different rather than using your credit card, a better way to do this is to use an Alertpay account.
An Alertpay account allows users to send and receive money online as long as you are within the Alertpay network.
To open and operate an Alertpay account, the least you need to have is an email address and with that you would be able to sign up. You may also have to verify your account by uploading some documents such as a Nepa bill and International passport.

To Open an AlertPay account:
- Go to www.alertpay.com
- Click on Sign up now
- Select the account you prefer
- GO To Next Step
- Enter your Personal details and location in Nigeria
- Follow the prompt till the final stage and confirm your account with your email address
- Add your passport or national id to verify you account. You would also need to include your utility bill like PHCN bill
- Now you can start using your Alertpay account to send and receive funds online

You can withdraw using any of the following means:
- Direct bank wire
- International cheque
- Local Alertpay exchanger
