Well at least it appears that we have something to gain from Starcomms Nigeria as they are currently offering a free 15 days browsing gift, perhaps for Christmas to her loyal customers. I guess this is one of the reasons why I love Starcomms Izap
What this means is that you would get 15 days of free uninterrupted browsing on the Starcomms Internet plan. If you are on Izap and have been using the service, all you need to do to benefit from this offer is to renew your subscription before the 12th of December 2010.
I'm guessing, the free browsing will then begin in January after your prepaid monthly subscription has expired. I think this will have to start reading from January for those paying for December or afterwards for those who have already paid.
I would have preferred it though if Starcomms actually starts offering discounts to customers based on the number of subscriptions they've made and their loyalty. I mean, if a Starcomms subscriber has been making subscriptions like for 3 straight months, then maybe you should offer him or her a discount for that rather than giving the same benefit to those who used only a month's subscription. Different customers would feel much better if they were rewarded differently. If a subscriber has been making regular payments from January to December then he probably would love it if he get a free one for december rather than just 15 days. Again if a subscriber just paid for December and you want to reward him with the same measure as you would for another subscriber that paid for 12 months! I think that it just unbalanced..
Anyway, It's a noble thing for Starcomms to be doing this 15 days free browsing promo and I'm hoping 2011 will be a better year for the company.
I really support Telecommunication companies in Nigeria that give instant reward for people rather than organizing lotteries in which no one can be assured of a winning.
So Kudos to Starcomms Nigeria!
