I just thought I should write a bit about the buying process for people who may want to buy ebooks and other downloadable resources from multidox.org.
Currently at the web address www.multidox.org/ebooks, we are selling two immediately available downloadable pdf files. I'm currently accepting 3 payment options which are:
- Alertpay
- Liberty Reserve and
- Paypal
I have decided not to use direct bank deposits or other manual forms of payment because it may slow down the buying experience as well as make work more cumbersome for me so I have opted to do an auto-delivery of e-resources once the buyer has paid for the item
How I sell ebooks online at Multidox
This involves these basic processes
- Buyer goes to the main page and clicks on the preferred payment button
- Logs into his payment processor account
- Confirms the transfer
- Returns back to merchant or store
- In about 5 mins an email with the download link is sent to the person's email account.
Note: With the exception of Liberty reserve in which the buyer will have to return to merchant and enter the receiving email address for the download link, for other payment options such as Alertpay and Paypal, the registered email address of such accounts alone will be able to receive the download link.
Liberty Reserve: Once you have completed the payment process with Lr, just return to merchant and enter the email address and the download link will be sent there.
Paypal and Alertpay: The payment and delivery is also automatic as all you need to do is follow the process to completion, return to merchant and you would get more information. The registered email addresses for Paypal and Alertpay will alone be abel to receive the download link.
Expected time frame for completion: About 10 minutes. Check inbox or spam for download link details
