I certainly don't need to convince you that it is quite possible to make money from the internet, even if you are residing in Nigeria since you are already here. It shows that you believe that people do make money from the internet.
Years ago when I first started my internet journey, it was all about Yahoo mail and chat rooms. It was mostly about getting free services from the internet but somehow these services were not entirely free(Not on Yahoo or MSN's part) since I had to pay for internet service. I had then thought to myself - If the internet could be taking so much money from me and getting me addicted, perhaps they could be a way in which I could also be getting money from the internet. The former applies to Internet drain while the latter where you actually profit from using the internet is what I would refer to as Internet gain.
I mean if you have been spending so much money on the internet, wouldn't it be nicer if you also made money from the internet? Call it financial empowerment through knowledge or whatever, but a time comes after several years you must have spent on the internet that you would just have to grow into a seasoned internet user. If the internet has not empowered you after such a long time, then you really need to think about it

So How do you really make money from the Internet?
Well there are several ways to do this but I'm going to limit my list to those ones that work in Nigeria and these includes:

- Google Adsense
- Online Forex Trading
- Selling e-currencies
- Selling recharge cards online
- Amazon referrals
- Alertpay referrals
- Blogging
- Web hosting
- Web designing
- Domain registration
- Selling ebooks
- Video Publishing
& lots more

Why people find it hard to make money from the internet
Although there are more than a gazillion ways to make money from the internet in Nigeria, there would still be some people or rather a lot of people who would find it hard or impossible to profit from this. Well, here are some reasons I think this is so:

- Little or No Computer skills
- Low level of education
- No credit card
- Neglecting the Google factor
- Little knowledge about internet business
- No dedication or focus
- Low level of motivation
- The negative Nigerian factors

Now that I am thinking of it. I may very well write a more comprehensive guide in an ebook and publish it soon
