It seems that between these last three months say February, march and April, what a lot of people are searching for from Nigeria is the keyword "Jamb".
Jamb is normally a highly searched keyword for queries coming from Nigeria on search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. A majority of internet users during these period came from prospective university students who had finished secondary school with a desire to secure their future with a good university education.
Now Jamb is an official body created by Nigeria's federal govt and saddled with the responsibility of conducting pre-university examinations for students and giving admissions too. The various exams which Jamb used to conduct such as the PolyJamb and UME have now been combined into the UTME.
A quick look at Google Insights will reveal that it has a strong search density with related keyphrases such as Jamb 2011, Jamb registration, Jamb exam date, Jamb UTME also on the rise.
If webmasters are able to target highly searched keywords such as these and provide relevant content on their sites, they will be able to get relevant traffic from people within the ages of 16 - 24 in Nigeria.
