If you are using a Glo branded Huawei Hspda device to connect to the internet and you are using it on a Windows 7 system, chances are that it may give you some erors after installing the application. You might try to dial the connection but it just does not connect and you could be thinking, maybe it is the password, username or other settings. Well it could be but just to confirm that your settings are correct, simply try using it on another computer that is lower than Windows 7 to see if it connects, if it does, then the problem you probably have with your Glo modem is a modem driver problem.
Normally a windows system installs modem drivers if it does not have it already installed or has a lower version of it but since the Windows 7 probably already has a higher version of the huawei modem driver you are trying to install and so would cause hitches. I think the problem with the Glo modem (Model E160G from Huawei) is that the installation was not complete due to perhaps, having a lower version or there are just other conflicts with the Windows 7 system's driver.

Now I had run into that same problem before and here is how I scaled through that hurdle:
- I just made sure I plugged in and auto-installed the glo modem driver
- I then plugged in my Glo USB stick and allowed the system to detect it
- An orange signal appears at the bottom right of my taskbar where connections are listed
- I went to control panel and just created a dial up internet access using the username and password as gprs, name as Glo 3g and dial up number as *99#
- Also ensured that Huawei USB modem is selected under properties in the dial up box
- Now I dialed and it connected using my Glo Dial up connection

One other thing I have not tried yet and think may also be a solution to this problem is by going to Huawei's official website and download an updated version of their modem driver for E160G. Maybe that could also do the trick.
