How to increase your Nigerian web traffic

One of the easiest ways to make more money from or at least add value to your website is by improving on your web traffic. In Nigeria, the story is the same and if you have a website that is targeting users in Nigeria, an African country that has the highest number of internet users in the continent and has one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
The web industry is already growing in this West African nation and there already is what I would refer a race for Nigerian web content. Numerous blogs, forums, news and social websites are on the rise with news and forum websites in the lead. Blogs are also on the rise as a result of rising unemployment and the desire by younger internet savvy generation's desire to make money from the internet.
Yes Nigerians are already using the internet in their large numbers and it is still not up to 50% of the over 75 million youthful population. In Nigeria, it seems internet penetration is rising from the South and moving upwards. But what are these Nigerians seeking for? What do they do while online? What sites do Nigerians spend most of their time on? What motivates them to visit the internet daily? If you could answer some of these questions as a webmaster, you would very well have a great potential to get more traffic to your site.

If you are a website owner and want to increase your Nigerian web traffic, there are a couple of things you can do.

How to increase your Nigerian web traffic
- Use Google trends, Insights and Webmaster tools to focus your site
- Target highly searched keywords from Nigeria
- Add more keyword related content to your site
- Answer questions to popular queries
- Use Feedburner r email subscription service to keep readers
- Connect your site to Twitter and Facebook or other Social sites

Some popular keywords in Nigeria:
- Facebook, Yahoomail, nigerian news, waec, utme, jamb, neco and so on.

i think that you have said it all...but the most efficient is to get an alexa account or any account from a traffic website for just little pays...but i dont do that i prefer posting comments and redirecting people to my blog.......visit www.masterforums.blogspot.com ...for more info,i promise you wont regret it
