There are a lot of people now using Paypal in Kenya and I you've been making some good money with Paypal either as an online merchant or as a freelancer or affiliate marketer, you may have been bothered with the fact that Paypal does not allow you to withdraw from your account directly to a Kenyan bank. Now how do you solve this problem? You have to look at other various options of withdrawing from Paypal in Kenya without necesarily having a US bank account which can be far fetched.

A great way I know you can get your funds from Paypal to Kenya is by making use of Alertpay. The good thing about Alertpay is that you can use it in Kenya both for adding and withdrawing directly from a Kenyan bank and it seems that the basic thing you need is a bank account that can clear foreign cheques or accept wire transfers. I call it the Paypal to Alertpay method

The thing about my method is that it does not work directly from Paypal to Alertpay since the two companies don't allow people to exchange one of their funds for the other and they are competitors. So the bottom line is that you can get your Paypal funds into Alertpay and once the money is in your Alertpay account, the next thing to do is to withdraw by bank Wire, Credit/Debit Card, or by foreign Check.

Update: This method involved using Liberty reserve but since LR is no more, it seems the method is no longer viable.
