Using Google adwords to drive more traffic to your site

If you are using Google adwords, make sure you are not using it to get an advantage over adsense as Google frowns at this, but if you are using it to promote your service or product, then it is a swell plan.

Google adwords is one of the ways I consider as being really efficient in driving web traffic. If you really want to have over 100,000 visitors a day on your website, you could do it with Google adwords and it simply requires money. This involves putting your money where your mouth is as it gets immediate results.

Paid Online advertising such as Google adsense is one of the fastest ways of getting traffic to your website and if you don't believe that, then you should do just a 1 or 2 day campaign for your site and see how it goes.

Google adwords allows for customer targeting
You can decide to show adverts to customers based on their interests or based on what they are searchiung for. Google adwords are keyword triggered and can still be used to target specific sites, online communities and even specific countries.

How to get started
Just go to google.com/adwords and register if you are not yet a member
- Create your ad campaign using texts, pictures or multimedia
- Decide on a daily budget and cost per click or thousand impression

A good example I have when I created a new classified site is by using a daily budget of $5 and a cost per click of $0.05. That made my ad to show for at least 10 times a day. I found out that I got a lot of new ads posted on the site and I ran the campaign for about 30 days. This helped put me in the first page of search engines related to my niche since those new ads posted were also adding content to my site. So if you are using Google adwords, it could be fun using it to get more long term results since you wouldn't want to just keep spending on adwords.
