If you've heard about Kindle fire, i guess you must be loving it already. You can check out a review I did about it
here.
Amazon's Kindle Fire is on sale already and everyone can buy it as long as you have access to online US stores like the Amazon marketplace.
They are already a couple of stores selling them in Nigeria but you could actually get it cheaper when you shop directly from the Amazon online store using the guideline I'm offering you here.
What you will need- An internet connection
- A visa/mastercard card with about $400
- A US shipping address
Steps:- First get a
MyUs account. Cost about $10 per use or $70 per year
- Open a free account with Amazon.com
- Register on Amazon with your US shipping address using your suite number given by MyUs and billing address as same with your credit card
- Shop for Kindle and pay using your visa or Mastercard
- Get notified when it arrives at your US address
- Decide on shipping to your home in Nigeria
- Wait for shipment within 4 to 7 working days.
Estimated Costs as at this date:- Purchase price = $199
- Shipping cost to Nigeria ~ $100
- Estimated total cost = $300
Tips:
If this is your first time of getting an account with MyUs, you can get a whooping 15% discount on your first shipping order with them by doing the following:
1.) Login to your account after registration
2.) Go to the My Account Tab
3.) Click on Account Settings
4.) Click on My Discounts
5.) Type in 15OFFFIRST in the box where it says Discount Code
That simply means that if shipping the Amazon Kindle fire to your doorstep in Nigeria using DHL would cost $100, it would be given to you for $85.
