Most Telecom firms in Nigeria do offer hourly internet plans and the good thing about these packages is that it helps you avoid having to pay for an internet service when you are not using it. Consider a scenario whereby someone pays about N10,000 for a 24 hr, 30 day internet plan only to end up using about 6 hrs a day for the 30 day period. In that example, the subscriber has paid for an extra 18 hrs of internet service he doesn't use.

If you are not a full time internet user, then going for an hourly internet service could help you pay less for browsing the web.

Now Starcomms Nigeria has a couple of such hourly internet plans that makes it one of the cheapest internet service providers in Nigeria and I just want to list the plans I know they are offering here:

Starcomms 1XCDMA 100 bundled hour Internet Browsing - N5,000 (30 days validity)
Starcomms iZap 100 bundled hour Internet Browsing - N6,500 (30 days validity)
Starcomms iZap 250 bundled hour internet browsing - N15,000 (90 days)

So if you already have the Starcomms modem, then load some credit on your device and dial the activation code for accessing the plan. You could also visit Starcomms office close to your for payment and activation too.
