As you might have already known, there are quite a lot of online publishing programmes one can make money from in Nigeria either on a Pay per click or impression basis as you just need to bring the right traffic to your end advertisers.
Chitika is one of such publishing programmes that allows people to make money from their web content. A couple of global publishers and bloggers have made quite some good money working with Chitika and some have earnings over 3 digits daily. Personally, of all publishing programmes I've worked with, Chitika comes among the best top 3 earners.
Presently however, Chitika is still an expanding network as they mostly have advertisers and accept traffic from countries like the USA, UK, Canada and some others so if you really wanted to be successful as a Chitika publisher, you'd need to have traffic from those targeted countries. However if you do have such traffic, pay per click from Chitika can really be high and this is a cool way to make money online.
Being a Chitika publisher however in Nigeria has its drawbacks unlike Google adsense. Chitika only makes payment either by Paypal or Cheque for international publishers like me. So' although I've been having some income with Chitika(over $300), I've never been paid really. I don't make use of Paypal and I'm still waiting for my foreign cheque which Chitika says they've sent but it's not reached me. I would have preferred any other mode of payment like Google offers with 3 days dhl service as Chitika's snail mail cheque never seems to reach me. I've requested for a reissue over and over again but no cheque from Chitika has really reached me so I'm still contemplating whether to still have a partnership with them.
Chitika can make you good money in Nigeria but the payment is the problem for now. I wouldn't want to open a Paypal account to receive my income from Chitika since Paypal has out rightly rejected Nigeria. I'd rather stick to their snail mail cheques until it ever reaches me.
