One of the payment options I occasionally use when shopping on Amazon.com from Nigeria is their gift card. The Amazon gift card is a sort of card that gives credit to the beneficiary, allowing him/her to settle bills on Amazon. It is a card, virtual or printed that allows the holder buy stuff from Amazon without having to pay for it as long as his gift card balance covers the billed amount.
======================
Some of the benefits of using an Amazon gift card are:
======================
- No credit card repayments since payments have already being made
- No transaction fees unlike credit cards
- They never expire
- Quicker shopping experience
- It can be sent as a gift that can be easily be converted to other gifts
- It can be used to help offset your shopping bill on Amazon stores
How to get a Gift card
=======================
You can simply do this if you have a Visa or Mastercard. With your card and an internet connection, you can buy an Amazon gift card online and send it to anyone you like, including yourself.
How to redeem your gift card
===========================
Amazon gift cards normally come with a claim code which is to be used by the beneficiary to credit his Amazon account. Just visit the Amazon store and use your claim code to convert your gift card to your credit.
How to shop with your Amazon gift card
========================================Once your gift card has been redeemed, you can always use it to shop online at Amazon stores.
- Select the products or services you want
- Go to your checkout
- Ensure that your gift card credit is sufficient to offset your bill
- Select your payment option as gift card
- Submit the payment button
- Order would be immediately processed.
