If you already have a Nokia 5330 Mobile tv phone and are subscribed to the DSTV service, there may be at times when new channels are available but your phone is not yet aware of it. You will need to update the settings on your phone by refreshing its memory to get the updated settings or channels.
Things you will need- Internet access
- Active DSTV mobile subscription
- Scanning for new channels
Steps to follow- Ensure that your earpiece is connected to the phone
- Open up mobile tv application
- Go to options
- Delete all channels
- Do a rescan of the channels
- Allow it to update
- New channels if available will now be showing.
If the new channels are on but scambled, you may need to subscribe for it first before it would start showing .
