My First $1 a day on Hubpages

3 days before Christmas, I just broke my first $1/day mark on Hubpages and it was a target I had been hoping to break for quite some time. I'm not talking about the Amazon referrals or the Google adsense income Hubpages had added to my credit - Those ones earn more. I mean the Hubpages ad program which is credited to writes on Hubpages as a form of reward.

I had earlier written about how I broke my first $1 per month last month but this month, I have, by the grace of God already broken my $1 per day mark and on the road to $10 per month. Talk of a 1000% income growth!

I had been hubbing(writing for Hubpages) for quite some time now and after having been a member for about 3 years, I only started getting more serious on it this year and for about 3 months on, traffic to my Hubpages sub domain has been rising.

I have included in this report, a snapshot showing my daily earnings for about 7 days and it has been quite impressive noting that my earning for the previous month was just under $2.

Now, for December alone, my earnings have almost tripled and I'm estimating this would reach over $10 this month. If I could steadily make over $1 a day from the Hubpages program, that could earn me a steady $30 a month and I I reach $10 a day that means $300 a month which is not bad for a Nigerian Hubber.

You should note that there are are lot of people who make quite some good income passively from Hubpages and some even make over $3000 a month from hubs they've written decades ago. When I say passively, it means that even after they've stopped writing, they still earn money from their Hubs.

$1 a day from Hubpages is not much of a big deal compared to how much I make from Google adsense directly but it is a motivating factor and reminds me of those days when I just started making over $1 from Google and my first dollar too from Amazon's affiliate program. The income from Hubpages rises over time and based on how much traffic your hubs bring.

The Hubpages Ad program is a way Hubpages.com rewards writers for their efforts and it is an alternative way of earning income from your writings. The more you write, the more income you are likely to make and some hubs pay more than others and it also depends on your niche.

I write a variety of topics but my favourite niche is on tech gadgets like ipads, kindle and mobile phones. I also do write on other topics relating to life, religion and society but I mostly focus on tech niches.
