One of the benefits of using Google Chrome to browse the web is that it's fast in loading websites and has a lot of tools, some hidden, which you can use to customize your browsing experience.
If you are an adsense publisher, one of the things you'd not want to do is cause invalid impressions on your site. So, apart from avoiding invalid clicks, it wouldn't also be nice to cause invalid impressions on your website which may end up leaking the funds of CPM advertisers. To avoid your website from showing repeated invalid impressions when you visit it, you would have to disable it somehow.
One way you can disable or block Google adsense ads from showing up on a particular website when you visit it is by specificically blocking that website.
How to block Google ads for a specific website on Google Chrome
========================
- Open up your Google Chrome browser
- Go to settings >
- Select show advanced settings
- Under Privacy, select content settings
- Under Javascript, choose Allow all sites to run javascript
- Under Javascript again, choose Manage exceptions
- Under Hostname, enter your website address e.g. www.multidox.org
- Under Behaviour, choose block
- Select Ok, to save the settings
Now, you can go to your website and you'd see that your website doesn't show any Google ads. You can try to boycott this by showing some part of your url e.g. multidox.org if your only blocked www.multidox.org or vice versa.
