I recently had a bad experience with an Amazon seller and it had to do with a price change for a laptop I wanted to buy.
I had initially seen a good price to buy the product and added it to my cart with the hope of buying it the next day. Unfortunately, the next day I noticed that the price had jumped by about 10% and this sort of didn't work well with my budget.
Well, I wasn't ready to start negotiating with the customer or sending an email since I guess he has a right to change price until the item has already being purchased.
Actually, when I normally intend shopping on Amazon, I don't just buy immediately, I first of all add items to my wish list and when it makes up to a reasonable shipping quantity
Perhaps I would just had added the item first to my wish list and then be able to track the price history from there. I noticed that one can't track price history when items are in your cart except there are in your wish list and I hope Amazon corrects this issue.
I guess the next step would have to be to decide whether I still want to buy or not at the current price. Prices of products at amazon are not fixed as they tend to vary from time to time and depending on the season and market demand.
It is just a bit frustrating to have to add items in your cart on a particular day and return the next morning to only find a price increase. I still see no reason why for the increase though.
