Ever since I've been using my Kindle Fire at public Wifi hotspots and at home, people tend to ask me how muh I bought my iPad. What many have failed to understand is that a Kindle Fire is quite different to an iPad. I guess it's because there are many versions of the Kindle and the ipad that at times make people confused as to the difference between the two.
If I was using my 7 inch Kindle Fire HD at a public place, chances are that you may mistake it for an iPad mini(7.9in) if you don't really know what a Kindle Fire really looks like.
So What is the difference between a Kindle Fire HD and an Apple ipad? Well, one of the first basic physical differences are that there are no camera lens at the back of a Kindle. You would only find a camera at the front of a Kindle Fire HD but an iPad has one at the front and another at the back.
Another physical attribute that distinguishes a Kindle Fire from an Apple Ipad is the Apple logo at the back of an iPAD which a Kindle does not have.
A third feature are the two dual stereo speakers at the left and right back of a Kindle which an Ipad does not have.
Another issue are the colors. The iPad comes in many physical colors such as white, black and Silver while a Kindle Fire is mostly black. I've not yet seen a white Kindle Fire HD yet.
As for the other features such as touch screen, zooming and some others, a Kindle basically works the same as an iPad.
