MTN Nigeria offers an unlimited internet data service on its Hynet platform. This is a platform that comes with a C.P.E. modem that offers access via an Ethernet cable and a wireless connection.

One of the great benefits of MTN's Hynet service is that you can share it with as many users as you want as long as they have a wireless capable device and also have your password.

One Hynet, MTN offers a variety of internet plans ranging from daily to weekly and even hourly plans. One of the plans I normally prefer using is the 24 hrs plan which gives me unlimited browsing up to a month. The good thing about this 24 hr internet plan is that you can browse any time of the day and even at night as long as your subscription remains active and without paying any additional fees other than the original fixed fee.

- Speed: 128KBps 256KBps 512KBps 1MBps
- Validity Period: 7 days, 6 months and 30 days and 6 months

Getting more speed would normally cost more while choosing a longer validity period would offer you more discount on internet bills. SO choose wisely when subscribing to a 24 hr service on MTN Nigeria.

Data cap plans
This is a plan on the MTN hynet service that also offers a subscriber 24 hrs access to the internet but is limited to the amount of data used and not time based. The only time limit is the 30 day validity period and the only data limit is based on how much data the user has subscribed to.

For the limited data 24 hrs internet plan on MTN Hynet, the only options to choose from are the various data bundles such as: 2GB to 10GB and they all come at a flat averagely higher sped of 2MBps which is higher than the all day plan

Summary
The 24 hr data cap plans offers the fastest speeds at a relatively lower cost than the all day plan but is limited by data while in the area of data used, the all day plan offers unlimited data for 24 hrs but at varying speed. If you do want unlimited data downloads without minding the cost, then you can go for the all day plan. The data cap plans is good for emergency or effective short term internet service without having to spend much on internet bills.
