I recently noticed this error when using Google Chrome on a different laptop.

As you might already know, Chrome is becoming one of the most popular browsers now in Nigeria and I can't really remember when last I used Internet explorer or Firefox. Internet explorer was my first browser and then came Firefox but with their slow speeds and crashing problems, I just had to switch to Google Chrome and the thing with Chrome is that once you get hooked, you'll never want to try out another browser.

Anyway, I recently noticed this problem whenever I want to run a secure https url. Chrome normally displays the error "The server's security certificate is not yet valid!". I guess I had run into this problem in the past so I just want to blog on how I was able to solve it.

One of the first things I noticed when this problem recurred was that my computer date and time were not correct and I guess that has to be fixed first.

I have not been able to visit a lot of secure sites as a result of the problem and so this is how I fixed it.

How to fix it
Just correct your computer date and time and you will be able to visit all those sites without the problem re-occurring.

Hope this helps?
