Macromedia(now Adobe) Flash has the ability to trace bitmap files and make them look like a cartoon version of the original picture. I've used it a lot in the past during web development and just want to share on how it can be used to create a simple cartoon version of yourself or any other person.

The video tutorial is specifically on how I was able to create a traced version of President Jonathan Goodluck's picture.

Things needed
============
- Original picture
- Flash program(I'm using Macromedia Flash 8)

Settings used
==============
Colour threshold: 80
Minimum area: 8
Curve fit: Normal
Corner threshold: Normal

How to do it
===========
1. Open the Flash program
2. Import a picture of your face by going to File > Import > Import to stage
3. Align and transform the image to ensure that is fits the intended size and stage
4. Select the image and choose to Modify > Bitmap > Trace Bitamp
5. Under colour threshold, enter a value or leave the default. I used 80
6. Under minimum area, enter the pixel value or leave default. I used 8
7. Select the curve fit and corner threshhold fit values. I left them at normal levels.
8. Begin tracing bitmap
9. Export the new image to your pictures.

You will now have a cartoon version of your original picture.
