There is a new computer tablet in town and this one is pioneered by Nokia and supported by Microsoft's Windows RT.
When Nokia does something, they really do it well and that's why their new product, the Lumia 2520, which starts from $499 probably has a lot to offer. Competing tablets like the iPad and Kindle Fire HDX sells from $279 and $133 respectively
I'm a great fan of Nokia products and in the past that included mostly mobile phones most of which we've been used to for many years now. Nokia has been a dominant force in the mobile phone industry and I guess it's about time they also divest into other products such as tablets.
One would probably have not expected this much sooner but it seems that since Microsoft indicated interest in buying the company, Nokia has started thinking outside the box and investing in areas that are likely to be profitable.
Computer tablets seem to be more fashionable now as more tech savvy people now use them as a carry along. It's not just in developed countries that tablets are selling faster than laptops and desktops but even in developing countries like Nigeria. Nowadays, it would be normal to see a lot of young Nigerians using a Kindle or iPad as public places like the shopping mall and eateries.
The future of tablet pc is promising and sales have already outstripped normal computers with Android devices in the lead. Nokia is seeking to recapture more of the market with this new innovation.
What does the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet really offer?
==================
Well, it is basically a tablet pc that can do most things mini computers can do such as web browsing via WiFi, camera, Apps, 32gb internal memory and expandable with up to 10 hrs of battery life. So one can do a lot of things with this tablet such as playing games, watching movies, browsing the web and some Microsoft utilities.
