The retail giant called Amazon has been reported to have a price drop policy in place that credits back buyers who buy from them if the purchase price drops within 30 days of the purchase date.
It works like this, assuming you bought an item worth $50 and later on the price drops to say $20 within 30 days of your purchase, you stand to get credited back a balance of $30 to your Amazon account.
I just got a Miscellaneous credit back to my account from Amazon in the form of a gift card worth $48. I'm not sure exactly which purchase this came from but it's worth having anyway.
I got an email yesterday from Amazon for a gift card which included the miscellaneous credit and my affiliate earnings.
After I got the email gift card, I was still trying to figure out if the entire $54.77 was for my affiliate commission or there were from another source and so I checked out my account payment history and noticed the reference made there. My affiliate commission pending was just $6.77 while the credit named as GC - Miscellaneous Credit was $48.00 and this brings the total gift to $54.77.
So it seems, when Amazon wants to give some credit back to her customers, one of the ways they do so is by sending a gift card and I'm accepting this one as my new year's gift from Amazon.
