One of the most promising ways through which bloggers and website publishers cna make money is by making use of AdDynamo's paid content platform. Unlike Addynamo's pay per click service, their paid content service is one that allows article writers and bloggers to make money by simply writing about content that would be pleasing the advertisers.
Addynamo's advertisers just like other online advertisers are constantly looking for ways to get more exposure to their products and services and that's why they pay for advertising using PPC adverts which are based on a click rate. However, as advertisers are getting smarter, some of them have also moved into paying bloggers to write about their services and products.
For most bloggers who write about content that are targeted for advertisers, this form of making money from blogging is called Sponsored posts. AdDynamo however offers an easier way to connect bloggers to advertisers through what they now call Paid Content meaning that bloggers write about content they would be paid for directly. So, Paid content is a sort of pay per post thingy.
Anyway, as AdDynamo keeps on growing in their Paid content platform, one of the new things they've introduced is affording publishers the ability to simply link their websites to Addynamo using the Google analytics code.
Earlier, when bloggers were invited for the Paid Content program, approved publishers were asked to add an addynamo code to their website and I think, not many bloggers would have had the time or would be willing to add more codes to their sites but the new thing they are now offering is the ability to also link your existing Google analytics account to Addynamo. This would allow the latter to easily get to know how your blog is performing, the keywords involved and the sort of traffic it gets and then be able to attract more advertisers to pay for a blog post.
Personally, I didn't really like the idea of adding more external codes to my sites such as the one from Addynamo because it would be an inconvenience, take a lot of time and I wasn't sure how it would affect the website's performance. However, with the new decision to also allow people to just link their analytics account to Addynamo, I had to accept their offer.
How to link Addynamo account to Google analytics
First time users who have not linked Google analytics to their account
==========================
- Just log into your AdDynamo account
- Go to Paid content
- Click on "Manage websites for paid content"
- Choose to link your AdDynamo account to Google analytics
- Sign into Google analytics
- Allow AdDynamo app to access your account by clicking accept
- You will be redirected to AdDynamo and your account will now be linked
For existing users who have already linked Google analytics
===================
- Just log into your AdDynamo account
- Go to Paid content
- Click on "Manage websites for paid content"
- Under your added website in AdDynamo paid content, select to add a Google property
- Select the exact website url relative to the selected site and add it
AdDynamo would now be able to track your google anaytics and provide the best advertisers for your website who will be willing to pay you to publish content.
+ You can always unlink AdDynamo from your analytics account anytime
What I like about this new development is that you no longer need to add multiple codes from addynamo to your website as long as you already have Google analytics running on it. So for those who already have Google analytics on their blogs, no need to include addynamo codes but you can just link the two together.
