Recently, Google has introduced a bank wire payment option for Adsense publishers in Nigeria and in my post in March introducing that, I mentioned that Nigerian publishers would be able to start receiving their Adsense payments via bank wire as from April ending 2014 and that would be for their accumulated earnings above $100 which they must have earned by March.

One of the things Adsense publishers in Nigeria would notice when Google starts to initiate bank wire payments to their domiciliary account in Nigeria after they've set up wire payment option is a message displaying "Automatic payment in progress Wire transfer to bank account - Google AdSense".

The payment would normally be prepared and issued by Google Ireland LTD to the specified bank in Nigeria on behalf of the publisher after having provided their bank's Swift code and bank details. It would be a bank to bank transfer and would be a much faster payment that could get credited in the publisher's account in as little as 2 to 3 days. Now that is much faster than the cheque option which had many publishers in Nigeria wait for more than 21 days just to get paid.

The Adsense payments would be listed under the publisher's payment history and would include details like the Amound sent, the Payment date, Payment number as well as the sender and receiver's details.

Once Adsense payment by bank wire has been initiated in one's account, the payment could be sent in as little as 24 hrs and the publisher would be able to receive the money within 3 to 7 days after it has been sent.

There might still be some bank charges and delays for receiving Adsense payment by bank wire transfer in Nigeria and this would even vary from bank to bank since there are over 20 banks in Nigeria. Publishers are always allowed to change switch banks and reflect same in their payment settings if they are unsatisfied with their bank services.
