One good thing about the entry of Paypal in Nigeria is that Nigerians can now use it to pay for online services easily and without the need to use their debit/credit card on any other website other than Paypal. One of the cool things you can do with your Paypal account in Nigeria is buying Domain names. Another is that you can also use it to pay for web hosting services.
For people who are used to setting up websites, one of the basic things needed to setup one is a Domain name. The Domain name is the basic name of the website and helps in indicating the address of that site. Once you've decided on a domain name for your proposed website, the next step is deciding on where to host your website. Hosting a website comes with a fee too and you can also settle that with Paypal payments from Nigeira.
Ordinarily, most Nigerians are used to either paying local Domain and web hosting vendors in cash or using a Prepaid USD card to pay foreign merchants in order to acquire a Domain name and hosting services. Now they can also pay with Paypal using the debit card already linked to their Naira bank accounts.
The good thing about using Paypal to pay for Domain names and web hosting in Nigeria is that you can pay using the Naira in your account and without the need for sourcing for Dollars from the black market or your domiciliary account.
You don't need to have a domiciliary account or prepaid Dollar card to buy a Domain name nowadays in Nigeria as all you need is a Verified Paypal Nigeria account. One your Paypal account has been linked to your bank account, you'd be able to buy domain names are websites that accept Paypal payments.
I used to buy domain names from several registrars but normally had to pay by first funding my Visa/Mastercard with US dollars from the black market and this was a bit expensive. Now I make use of Paypal for most of my online payments.
Nowadays, one no longer needs to go to the black market to source for dollars or have to have a domiciliary bank account but with a Paypal account linked to a Naira bank account, you can just make foreign currency payments in a breeze and get an official exchange rate while doing so.
Websites I recommend for your web hosting and Domain names:

NetfirmsBluehostUsing Paypal for online payments from Nigeria allows users to have access to about $200,000 worth of foreign currency from Nigerian banks within a year and using their Naira account. This means that you can effectively get foreign currency from your bank as long as you have enough Naira in your bank account to make the payment.
