How to pay for your DSTV subscription online using UBA internet banking

One of the platforms which I use to renew my DSTV subscription online is UBA's internet banking service also known as UBA direct. You can also renew your DSTV subscription on websites like Quickteller.com and others.

How to do it

1. First Ensure you have enough funds in your bank to pay for it

2. Log into your UBA ACCOUNT

3. Go to Pay Bills

4. Under Biller ,Select DSTV

5. Under Item, select your bouquet e.g.

6. Premium+PVR access

7. Allow the price to show up

8. Under Customer ID, enter your Smart card number

9. Confirm the Customer ID by re-entering it again in another box

10. Enter your phone number too

11. Click the submit button

12. Request for your OTP

13. Enter the OTP in the web page that comes up

14. Click on the OK button

If successful, your bank account will be credited, while your DSTV account will be credited. You will also receive an sms notification indicating the reference number and the details of the transaction.

It is that easy.

When paying to renew your DSTV subscription online, ensure that you do it before it expires so that you don't have to waste time complaining to the DSTV office.

If you paid for your DSTV's renewal online after it has expired and channels have been scrambled, you will have to notify DSTV first so that they can reactivate it for you. You can connect to them by SMS and even on their Facebook account. You may also visit their office for that but that takes a lot of time.
