Nowadays, recharging a mobile phone's battery is no longer restricted to using Wired chargers plugged into a wall socket but one can also make use of mobile charging devices such as Power banks.
A power bank is a device that has the ability to store electronic power or charges and it can be used to recharge the battery of your mobile device when it has run low.
Mobile devices such as mobile phones require constant recharging of their batteries after a period of use and that's why electric chargers were made as accompanying accessories in the first place. We might not always have electric power all the time and may also not always want to keep our phones plugged into the wall or in a fixed place just to recharge it's battery and that's why Power banks have come to help.
A reliable way to keep your mobile phone charged up and also be able to carry it along with your is by making use of Portable power banks. How do you recharge your mobile phone with a Power bank?
Well, recharging your mobile phone with a power bank is easy as the device is built in such a way that it's easy to just plug it into your phone to start the charging process.
One of the first things you should consider before recharging your mobile phone or other device using a power bank is the capacity of your phone's battery. How much current does your phone need? How much charge can the power bank give?
Let's assume that your mobile phone's battery is about 2100mah and is fully discharged, then it means that your power bank needs to also be at least 2100mah capable in order to fully charge your phone. However, because power banks tend to depreciate as it gets used, youy might need to at least have one with a capacity higher than 2100mah to recharge a mobile phone's battery that is at least 2100mah.
To recharge your phone's battery, all you need is to connect one end of the connecting wire that came with the power bank to the power bank's slot and the other end should go to the phone. If it's a micro-USB cable for instance, then the USB end should go into the power bank while the smaller micro-USB end would go to your phone's charging port.
Allow the process to begin and you'd also notice that it's charging when your phone's charging indicator lights up. Allow it to charge for a while until it says fully charged.
Some power banks are designed to charge a phone's battery faster while some take more time but you shouldn't use a power bank charger that doesn't come with the same power specifications that your mobile phone's wall charger came with. This is so as not to cause any damage to your phone's battery.
