Aliexpress is a cool place for buying car and machine accessories or parts

One of the things I love about Aliexpress is that they sell a lot of machine parts as well as car parts. It can be hard finding the right car or machine parts and accessories in Nigeria and these things need replacement from time to time as a result of depreciation but it's not always easy finding those parts in Nigeria.. One place you can find them is on Aliexpress - a cool website that connects you with China.

Although car or machine parts being sold at Aliexpress may be produced in China or Hong Kong and may not always be of the same quality as those produced in Europe or the USA, it does make up for it by saving you money with their low product and shipping costs.

I remember helping a manufacturer buy machine parts for his generator. The product was an Automatic Voltage Regulator that was normally procured for him by his engineer for as much as N25,000. I helped him save cost by as much as 60% and bought about 10 units of the same product from China for less than N10,000 each.

Aliexpress also sells things like car parts, accessories and gadgets. You could find parts suitable for your Toyota, Isuzu or even Mercedez car on Aliexpress and these may be side mirrors, sun shades, remote key, head lamps and so on all at great prices.

One way to save money when buying car/machine parts or accessories on Aliexpress is to choose the free shipping option. When you choose that option, your item will be sent to you through postal mail and it gets to the NIPOST office closest to your address or postal code from where you can pick it up. The only small disadvantage with postal mail delivery is that it takes a longer time but at least within 1 month it will have arrived.

Order for your parts and accessories in advance when shopping on Aliexpress and don't wait for the machine to breakdown before placing your order so that the product gets delivered to you before you actually need it. At least you know which parts are mostly replaced in your car or machine from time to time and so it's best to order for them in advance so that it gets to you even before you need it.

So, If you know that you always need things like side mirrors, engine mounts, fuel gauge, headlamps from time to time, it's best to order for them like 5 weeks in advance when shopping on Aliexpress so that you don't have to order them as a result of emergency.

Emergency or urgent orders are also possible on Aliexpress and this is for cases when you need particular product almost inmmediately like within 5 working days as a result of the fact that you can't wait too long to receive it. This is also allowed and all you have to do is choose a faster delivery service like EMS, FEDEX or DHL. It costs more to order for things in cases of emergency than if you were to buy them just for stock keeping.

I normally prefer to buy machine and car parts in advance on Aliexpress so that I can warehouse them for future use which can be for resale or personal use.

One advantage that buying car and machine parts on Aliexpress has over buying them from local markets in Nigeria is that you don't have to buy a used or fake part. You also don't have to start bargaining for price with the seller as they normally trick buyers by inflating the prices of their products. There are really no price regulators in Nigeria for the spare parts market but on Aliexpress, prices for these parts are already listed at a reasonable price and can even be reduced for bulk buyers just by contacting the seller.
